Dear Family & Friends,

Well, we are now resting & sitting in a very expensive motor home in Bend,Oregon. God is good all the time. You can well imagine that after our very expensive anxiety causing car travails that rest & quiet time is very important. You would be right.

Once in Folsom, Ca. we stayed with our daughter Teresa & her friend Lisa. As normal they treated us like royal guests as we used their home as a home base as we visited family and friends.

We then traveled to Alameda and stayed with our dear friends the Glennen's who overfeed us as usual. Mind you I am not complaining but I know that this is just the beginning of expanding my belt. Hehe. Then over to Living Hope Church in Emeryville to thank them for their continued support. Pastor Sunny was in the hospital with her husband Benjamin delivering their new baby girl. We were able to visit with them both after the delivery and pray for their whole family. Again one of the Lord's precious blessings.

We traveled to our home church, First Presbyterian Church of Castro Valley where we were welcomed home by our Mission Team and its members. We stayed once again with Frank & Gretchen Lagusa as they gave up their whole master bedroom just for us. We were wined & dined by the whole team. We then made a presentation of the Lords Ministry work at both services and then a lunch afterwords. What a blessing to see so many old friends and renew friendships.

We then visited with our friend, Weldon & Joan Allen 7 their new little puppy Duchess in Sonora. They live on a ranch & it was the start of our quiet time of reflection on the Lord's work in Puerto Vallarta.

Back to Folsom and visits in Singlesprings with Melissa (our oldest daughter, her husband Steve, our granddaughters Courtney, Julie and our great grandchild Christian. Boy, how quickly our grandchild has grown. He is 1 1/2 now and walking and trying to talk. He did learn a very important word while we were there. He called me Papa repeatedly but much to Faye's consternation didn't learn to call here Grandma Mimi.

Then off to Bend, Oregon and a wonderful visit with Roger & Clerese on the beautiful Deschutes River. I am writing this while sitting in a luxurious motor home borrowed from their dear friends Jack & Donna. Thank you Roger & Clerese & Jack & Donna for the use of your beautiful motor home and the efforts to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Very morning I wake up to deer (doe's & the bambi's) within 10 feet of the motor home eating the corn put out by Roger. Wow, what a treat as this is truly a place especially created by the Lord for tired missionaries. Then Roger & Cleresa put us in their boat and we drift down the river slowly enjoying the deer, ospreys & blue herons and wave to other drifters and folks on shore. Jealous? You should be as this is just what Faye & I needed after a very difficult but wonderful year doing the Lord's work. Well on Friday we will move up to Portland, OR. and then onto Arlington, WA. Will let you know more as we travel but make sure you open the photo attachments and enjoy. God bless.

Vaya con Dios mi Amigo,

Senor Dennis & Senora Faye Janson
